hey i'm looking into gettin a CAI, everyone says that the ebay ones are the best deal with a new filter. but I live in cali so emissions is an issue. do any ebay CAIs come with the stickers? is it possible to use any carb sticker or will that not work. i guess i could just keep my stock intake for when i need to get it smogged every couple years?

 

Your problem isnt really SMOG. But the PIGS. You can get cited for a intake with no CARB sticker. Get a Autotechnic one. Cheaper than AEM(pricing wise) and carb legal. I can get you one for about 75 bux.

 

Carb legal intake is cheeper then a CARB violation and the hassle involved with it

you could use any CARB sticker but if they check the serial number it will be different. Get an AEM or K&N one they also flow way better too

I havent been stopped with it on. Luckily the CARB badge IS for my car haha.

 

that looks pretty good haha. my car is bone stock right now except for a bra so i don't think i should have too much trouble. i live in a pretty low-key area anyways unless i go to like SDSU or something, i'll take my chances i guess cause i'm cheap

 

Or get a GSR intake and an aftermarket air filter, or aftermarket air filter period and put it in your OEM air box.
