DPFI to MPFI cel code troubles
so i did all the wiring to the note according to the instructions on all the forums i've read yet when i started my mpfi swap it soundes like its its not getting fuel or spark to one ore more cylinders kinda sounds like a wrx in desperate need of a tune, anyways the ecu flashed codes 3 (manifold absolute pressure) 4 (crank angle) 5 (manifold absolute pressure) and 10 (intake air temp) are these common codes for the swap? how do i fix these? and are these the cause of it running like ****?
well you definitely muffed something up pretty bad to get all those codes. go over your wiring again. you are using the correct dizzy with the mpfi ecu i assume?
so codes 3 and 5 are because of range or performance of sensor, high voltage to sensor, or low voltage to MAP sensor, 4 is because there is no signal to crank position sensor or there is intermittent interruption in the signal, and 10 is because of rang or performance of the sensor, high voltage to sensor or low voltage to IAT sensor so im going to try fixing these problems and see what happens to the way it runs cause if there is something screwy with the MAP sensor than im sure it would cause it to run like this.
