Default ecu code

alright, when i turn the key on my d16z6 the check engine blinks 3xs then a pause.. and one long blink.. and it just repeats it.. any idea what code that is?

Take a look in the sticky, long blinks are 10'a and short are 1's. So 2 longs and 3 shorts would be 21. If its just something like 6 shorts than its a 06 also 6.

maybe its a 3 and a 10 then. if the pause is between the 3 and the long 1

1 O2A - Oxygen sensor #1
2 O2B - Oxygen sensor #2
3 MAP - manifold absolute pressure sensor
4 CKP - crank position sensor
5 MAP - manifold absolute pressure sensor
6 ECT - water temperature sensor
7 TPS - throttle position sensor
8 TDC - top dead centre sensor
9 CYP - cylinder sensor
10 IAT - intake air temperature sensor
12 EGR - exhaust gas recirculation lift valve
13 BARO - atmospheric pressure sensor

13 is the barometer. Its in the ecu, if its bad youll need another ecu because that part isnt sold seperately and is soldered in the ecu
The only things though is: it blinks the code in order. So if you indeed get a 3 then 1 then it cant be 13. A 31 is some related to the auto tranny.

if it were 13 it would be BLINK (long) then 3 shorts ..

it could even be two seperate codes .. 3 and 10 i guess .. depending on how long the pause is ..

3 blinks then a long pause and a long blink. idk tho for sure.
