Default Hard shifting

I just put new pilot bearing, new aluminum 8lb fly, new clutch and pressure plate, and a new throw out. Now when at a stop its hard to shift into any gears so I bled the slave and still doing it. I noticed if the clutch pedal is to the floor and the trans is in gear i hear some kind of noise like the noise u hear when machining rotors. Then i noticed if i let the pedal out about 1/3 to 1/2 inch it shifts into gear normally and no noise. What could this be? Should I adjust the clutch pedal height? Or is it something else?

Clutch pedal needs to be adjusted after installing a clutch. Bleed it more. Sure you installed the clutch correctly?
