Is the notched ring on this axle for ABS?
My gf has a 93 Civic LX which didn't have ABS as an option, yet the right axle has a notched silver ring just inboard of the hub that seems to be for n ABS system. Check out the vid:

Is it common practice to install axles configured for ABS systems when ABS isn't present on the vehicle, or is this straght-up the wrong axle for this car? There is no ABS hardware present at the wheel other than this ring.
