Default Disconnect battery-ECU Reset

So I put in my cold air intake, and disconnected the battery for 5 minutes to reset the ECU...

Two things went wrong, first it wont rev over 5500 seems like there is a rev limiter or something, and second my radio says CODE

Help!

you could just reset the ecu by removing the ecu fuse for like 10min

10mins? More like 15secs. But I usually gotta pull the "Back Up" Fuse too.

no all rsx has a rev limiter built in if your on a dead stop unless you turn it off. and your radio you should have a code by ur glove box facing the driver side

Sorry, but he didnt have to call it "my idiot right foot". i am not dumb either, i let it warm up. i called acura and the service manager said after a short drive it would run some tests and "learn" of the intake. all good now.

one more thing though, now my automatic driver side window will not go up or down automatically. it still goes up and down, but doesnt do the one click all the way up or down. my car didnt come with an owners manual or that probably would have helped on this one...

You installed your intake and now your car is falling apart

my advice is you sell your car asap, and get a bicycle

Mine acts up in the cold also. Thats weird. When it rains sometimes too. Its not from the battery either or da green stuff. Other than that the automatic works almost all the time.
