Icon6 Rear upper ball joints?

Sup fellas

Has anybody been able to find rear upper ball joints w/o
replacing the entire control arm?

I've replaced the front uppers which they sell separate from the control arm
and also have a 1 degree camber adjustment. They almost look like the same
diameter as the rear upper bj's so I'm wondering if I can just use some more
front ones on the rear control arm. Has anyone tried this?

Thanks for the input yall

Ingalls and SPC both make adjustable rear ball joints...

There are kits all over ebay. I have an adjustable ball joint kit on my car and honestly see no difference whatsoever between the front and rear ball joints. Whether they are different part number or not, they are the exact same dimensions.

4th gen is the same all around, 5th gen is different in the front (rear is the same as 4th gen).

Hmm, I wonder if this means that Accord ball joints would work. Those e-bay ball joints are also listed for some Accord models: http://cgi.ebay.ca/2-FRONT-Upper-Bal...item5ad1f74c97

Did you just press them out of the control arm? I've got to change all the ball joints on a 93 lude, but I really don't want to have to swap out the control arms unless it's absolutely necessary. If I could pick up Accord ball joints from my local auto parts store, that would save me a lot of cash. Do you remember what ball joints you used and where you got them?

Thanks

I need to purchase some ball joints for my rear upper... I was considering doing the SPC adjustable but they sell two... one with a higher range of camber adjustment than the other... and i dont know which to get...

does anyone have any suggestions?

Or know if autozone will sell be just normal ball joints for the rear upper control arm?

I've been thinking about : http://www.iapdirect.com/product.php?productid=39851

to replace the upper ball joints on my front and rear... the problem is I dont know if I should get the "-1.5 - 1.5 degree" ones or the "1.5 - 3.0 degree" ones?

The car is dropped probably about 2" - 2.5" on ground control coils and tokico 5 way adjustables.

I dont think i really need a camber kit style ball joint, but searching a few parts places online it seems like buying just the ball joints by themselves are so expensive I figure I may as well do these adjustable style ones...

You can't get OEM ones by themselves, you have to buy the control arm and they will come with it. Reason being is if ball joints are pressed in/out more than twice they pretty much aren't gonna stay in anymore and the hole will become worn on the control arm. Get the ones that allow more adjustment, the rear gets very negative when dropped but don't think that it'll fix tire wear or anything like that though...
