Default 92-95 5 Lug conversion

I would like to explore the different 5 Lug conversions conversions

There is the ITR 5 lug conversion(1000$) and guaranteed to work.

The HR-X front hub press in that fits stock 92-95 and a rear disc to use accord stuff with an extension (both unknown)

Is there a cheaper or more widely available way to go?

no need to post about the ITR conversion, we all know it works, there are just soo few type r cars out there, and even less that are getting parted out.

home made kits welcome, i am tempted to strip a junkyard car for brake parts and see what i can weld up.

front crv complete knuckles are the same exact part as the jdm itr.. bolt up and go.. for the fronts atleast.. but it will be a 36mm axle nut.. rears you can mix match accord and prelude.. not really sure which combos will work though..

Yes just like Honda_hien said CRV fits in the front like original ones and the back you will need the 97+ Prelude rear hubs.

Would the brakes from an 05 RSX Type S swap over?

I have a totalled RSX im thinking about selling/parting out but want to get all the stuff off that could be swaped to my 93 Hatch.

there is some thinkings. the civics 2000 and down have an upp control arm, where as 01 up civics and rsx have the hub bolting to the top of the shock. i am going to play with the hubs a bit to see if it is more feasible to turn the hubs on a lathe. now that i work at a machine shop it is soo much more feasible.

so to answer your question, no they are not a direct bolt up. my 13 in disc are on all the way around. still 4x100 though.

i dont believe it would be too bad to produce an arm that will work with those knuckles and an ef/eg/ek suspention.

I took my brothers corrado rotors that were 4x100. I added 4 holes so it has both 5x100 also. Why not redrill the hubs you already have and add in new studs?

He's trying to go 5x114.3. The bolt circle most likely wont fit on the hub.

CRV spindles bolt up strait, you have to run preliude hubs for the rear.
