Default civic sturts/assembly 93vs99

will the whole shock assembly off a 99 fit a 93 hatch, if not, will just the strut fit? i talked to someone local and they think the only diffrence is the abs sensor but we're not possitive.

The fronts are basically the same and can be swapped (I think just a mount for the brake hose is different, but might be wrong). The rear though are different in that the EG (93) control arm bushings are wider than the EK (99) ones where the strut mounts to the control arm. You can use EG rear struts on an EK if you add some spacers, but you can't use the EK rears on the EG because the lower mount won't fit over the bushing.
