O.E.M. EG struts have brackets for brake lines.
EK struts do not have those brake line brackets.
If you use EK struts on EG, you have to figure out a different way to mount your brake lines.

or you can grind them down. that's what i did to my gsr rear lca's in order to accomodate some tein flexes that were made for ek's.

grinding will work as well...i like grinding... but with an EG, the bushings are old and should get swapped anyways. if they are high spring rate coilovers, new bushings are for sure a good idea. i will post a pic later of what my 8k omnis did to a rubber bushing. its nice.

i'm planning on doing this as well. i have Tein SS coilovers from an EK that are going on my EG and i'm planning on gettin either OMNI or NAR-SPEC Lower Control Arms. How do i get the bushings out so that i can put the EK ones in? Hydrolic Press i'm guessing??

yes a press. the bushings come out easy if you have the right tools. if you are going to replace the lower arms, just take them to a shop and have them do it real quick. it takes a few minutes.
