As for recommending not to do it is because I can almost guarantee (OP please don't take offense to this) that the OP is a noob when it comes to the EP chassis as well as wheel and tire set ups all together. Not to say that I am a know it all guru of the wheel and tire world, but I have had a lot of different wheels and tires so mainly speaking from experience I know that it takes a lot of work to make aggressive wheels fit well. I've had low offset wheels on my EP as well as my AE86 drift project. As for the EP, and most FWD cars in general, you will need stretched tires and a lot of negative camber to get the wheels to look good. I will say that when I had Axis OG wheels, 15x8 +20, they would fit perfectly flush with no rubbing and pretty much no fender rolling with 195 50 15 tires. I had 205's and I barely rubbed on large bumps. Again, 195's are not meant for 8" wide wheels and you will also hear all about the functionality and safety aspect of this subject from many people. OP I say if you really want to get into the low offset game, check the Official Aggressive Wheel thread in the Honda/Acura section to get a better feel and look of a wheel set up like this on a Honda.
Cliffs - Don't recommend tire stretching, and OP you should do more research.
An example of what I am talking about on an EP3 is Supreme's old set up.
16x8 0et with I believe 195 40's...
Notice how far they stick out with out rolling and pulling...

lol oh ok. I thought when you said you don't recommend it you meant like "its a pain in the *** and stuff kept breaking" type of non-recommendation.

No haha, I like the offset look but not the rubbing and not having it "done right" yah dig. I actually planned on doing another set up but I'm really getting into auto-x and I think I'm just going to do a beefy, aggressive and functional set up.
what types of spring of suspension would u recommend if i want to get the 16x8 . 0 offsets sportmax?.. if not a coilover what kind of sprign and shocks?
I will strongly recommend you get a full coilover set up for this. You will also need it pretty stiff as well. You will definitely need some adjustability. I have Megan Racing straight arm coilovers right now and at the time I had Buddy Club N+. You will also need a camber kit, I recommend Ingalls.

Look like which set up of mine.
Also, you should look around at other wheels. There is a big variety out there and you might like something else, just sayin'.

i heard the megan track coilover really suck..it feels really bumpy..what made u poick that over buddy club coilovers?
I had my BC's for a long time and I was just looking to change a lot and I actually haven't heard too many bad things about Megan's coilovers at all. I also like how they have the straight arm, they're a bit more responsive. I've had them a few months now and they've been great so far, they ride smooth and get nice and stiff when I turn them up. I usually ride at about 20 out of 32 towards the stiffer side and I like the way they ride. I get most of my parts from showstoppersusa.com, or weaksauceparts.com. Don't get me wrong, the BC's were great as well, just wanted to try a few things out. I'm going Koni/GC next.

to someone that likes to set up a car to handle well. Let me clear up something, if you are going to reduce the suspension travel of a car, you have to increase the spring rates. If you know someone that dropped their car by 50% of its suspension travel, it has to ether have very stiff springs or it will spend a lot of its time on the bumpstops....btw, dampers do not like that, so they will blow up very quickly. If you increase the spring rates, you have to increase the damping because the damping controls the springs...there is no magic here. I happen to think the megan tracks are the purfect coilover for all you low rideing ricers out there. They are less than a grand, they have more than double the stock spring rates, purfect for people that are going to drop a car around half of its upward suspension travel and they have flat steering arms so you do need those dump inverted tirerod ends.
Skannk2 springs are definitely a no go...

that will be a close one... but stock tires size will be fine from what I remember...
I just don't know why you all want to stay with small wheels and tires lol... to make the EP3 handles you need to get at least some 225 on it lol
