I don't think i'm getting a spark. It just keeps cranking... any ideas? should I go get a new coil? thanks -mil

 

You need to find out for sure if you're not getting spark. Doing anything else is a waste of time.

 

Im having the same issue. My s light is blinking 5 short times which is a code for the MAP sensor, however I have looked on other websites and the trouble code for the MAP sensor is three blinks. This stuff is confusing!

 

Try a different distributor; I know, you might not have one or know anyone who may have one. When I don't get spark, I usually try to find another distributor to test if the current one is bad.

Otherwise, check your ground wires and make sure they have good contacts. There's one ground wire on the CD5 that will not generate spark if its a tad loose or not connected which is bolted on the driverside Intake Manifold.
