Default oil leak coming from somewhere between the block

i just found it today when i went to go change the oil it seems to be right below the first exhaust port, right where the top of the block and the bottom of the block connect, is there a gasket there?

i have another question too, what all am i going to need for the repair?

i also plan on replacing the valve cover gasket too while its off. is there anything else i should also replace while the head is off?

and do i need to buy any special sealant?

go to your local auto store and ask for valve gasket sealant. you can use that for you headgasket too aswell, but do only the odd corners.

hahahaaha. i love how people jump to conclusions.
mots motors get dirty like that.
do a compression and leakdown test
chec ur coolant and see if it is milky
check to see if it is overheating.
dont just jump to conclusions

its just weird because it wasent like that until after i got home from school today, and it looked fresh

but my coolant looks fine

i just replaced the coolant because it has been overheating the past 2 weeks because of a bad radiator switch, plus i did a totaly cooling system replacement with new fan, radiator, hoses and thermostat. so i finally got the overheating under control lol

and how do i do a compression and leakdown test?

Werd For me this happened when I painted my valve cover and didn't reapply the gasket correctly.

that leak looks too small for it to for sure be a head gasket. usually if your getting a head gasket leak you will have other problems that accompany it.

Could have blown your headgasket from overheating it
