Default b16a2 high/loud idling + check light

2 days ago, i started my car and it was loud as fck with the CEL light on. Then it goes away within 1-2 mins, up until today driving mid way the check engine came on. Car is loud, its idling between 1,500-1,900 rpm, while in neutral it would not let me rev past 4k. In gear it would also won't allow me to rev more then 4k, but when i hit the 4k mark i see black smoke coming out in the back. the car smells while idling, i hovered my hand over the exhaust and wet black dots were covering my hand. Theres loss of power too

Anywho i've checked all the wires see if their all plugged in, resetted the ecu, and took a look at the throttle body and it all seems fine.

kind of stumped right now, any ideas would be awesome.

Since you have a CEL on you should start there first. Scan it, get it scanned, or jump the service connector.

yeah check the cel but i would say most likely this has to do with a bad o2 sensor

Stop guessing. Go pull the CEL codes:

that sucks. clean the IACV. (idle air control valve) with brake parts cleaner.

put a paper clip into the 2 pin connector, the CEL light just stays completely on, without blinking. gonna clean out the iacv, n hope for the best.

cleaned out the iacv, it idled better but still sounded loud as ****. same **** is happening over my hand over the exhaust and my hand becomes wet with gasoline. Checked the spark plugs and they were pitch black, the car still isn't able to rev past 4k.

could it be a sensor? Checking the CEL light it shows no codes.
