88-91 civic / crx tracton bar crosmembers avalible
new from jimfab.com the long awaited crossmember replacement. eliminate wheele hop, improve 60 foot times and tighten up your front end with a new crossmember from jimfab.com. made from 4130 chromeoly tubing and constructed to be bulletproof. this crosmember is what you need to eliminate the inhearit wheele chatter the 88-91 civic recives when it is pushed. Even stock motor cars will benefit from this. this crossmember also leaves plenty of extra room for a 4-1 headder or a turbo setup with a large downpipe. The motor mount is located in the stock location, and it will work with most of the current B-series swaps. some older swap kits hold the motor too far forward and clash with the oil pan. we also offer the crossmember without the motor mount attached. recentley reduced to sell at $350.00 compare to the competition at upwards of $900.00. we only use the best heim joints, grade 8 bolts, and material. check them out at jimfab.com or ag-engineering.com. the bars are hand made in the u.s.a. by Jim helms himself.
Wow, 350 compaired to the Z10 radius rods for 500.00 looks good, but will it hold up as well as the Z10. There is a guy running around here with a b20/vtec and they handle slam shifting. The weldson this unit look beautiful, I know if they hold up that well, I WANT ONE.
why at the bottom of the JIMFAB article on it do you put "NOT RECOMMENDED FOR STREET USE" why the hell not?!

Yeah, whats up with "Not recommended for street use."
Jim I didn't see a email for you, so i guess i'll just post it here. I got a few questions.
Is it extra for the front mount on the crossmember?? Also will the front mount that you sell for the 88-91 civic work on a b-series motor, and fit your crossmember??
What color are your strut bars, and will the ones designed for the 90-93 teg, fit a 88-91 hatch??
And if i buy all those things from you will you give me a discount??? I'm interested in the crossmember, front mount, and front and rear strut bars!!!

Yeah that is important to me is the use of the front torque mount on a b16a, it made a world of diffrence in the launch ability of my car. If it has a front mount bracket then hell yeah I will take one.
How big a deal is it that the jimfab/AG racing bars only have 3/8" of pre load adjustment and you have to jack up the car and undo one end of the radius arm to adjust? How useful is the pre-load adjustment? Exactly what does it do?
Thanks
Ben
