Default Anybody using a Mallory 636, 4 stage RPM switch? I have a question.

I emailed Mallory, and their tech support dude just pointed me to their lame description. Here is the item:

I have a need to turn on 4 things, progressively, based on RPM. I can't determine if the Mallory does that. I don't think it does. I think it looks for an RPM drop back and then a climb. not a straight up climb.

I'm asking on this forum because the drag guys would use this item and know.

What I want to do with it is a robotics application where things turn on progressively the faster a jackshaft rotates. reach perhaps 100rpm, and something turns on. Reach 300rpm, next thing turns on, reach 400rpm, next thing turns on, etc.

you'd think a nitrous timer would do it... but "timer" is what we don't want. Needs to be progressive RPM based. I'm looking for an off the shelf piece of electronics that might work for this off the wall use.

Appreciate any help.

what about using 4 RPM window switches? all set to different windows? MSD makes them: http://www.msdpower.com/product/partno/8950.php?cat=rpm

thought about that to, and dropped them a note. No reply. My concern is all the parallel'd inputs and outputs potentially feeding each other back.

There are a about 70-80 different RPM window switches listed at Summit. If they could be parallel'd, that's the question.
