tie rod on backwards???

Default tie rod on backwards???

what can happen if your outer tie rod is on backwards?. just asking becuse mine was on backwards and just wanted to know what could have happen to me if i did not see this at all.

What do you mean on backwards? You switched the left to right and right to left or did you mount it on with the balljoint facing downward?

The only thing I can think of is that the tierod won't have full movement due to the way it's curved and plus it's on the wrong side.

Just switch it.. it's very simple.

take it somewhere to get the alignment checked out, they will have print out that will show you if its out of spec.

I made the same mistake. My wheels would rub on the tie rods everytime I would turn all the way.
it messes with the car geometry in a way. The car would turn a lot easier after I swapped them back. Though, nothing was damaged.
