Default just bought a new whip wtfs up?

Alright well i just bought a 1999 civic dx hatch that came with a turbo on it but its running 0-1 psi. GAY. well anyway i need to know what is the cheapest way to tune this thing as well as what is the max hp on stock injectors or will i even have to tune it. can i just crank up the mbc a little bit. or better yet, what would you do if you didnt have much money and you want to make due with what is there. its stock motor with a 57 trim turbo on it...

Isn't a 57 trim a little big for a street car with stock internals? it's never gonna boost unless you're on it.

People say the y7 is good for 200 whp with stock internals, but thats with some form of tuning and im sure injectors and a fuel pump.

Your only as good as your tune, so its best not to cheap out on that.

its on this bigger side but none the less not TOO big. on stock injectors you can probably run up to 200-210whp before they start to cut out and get lean. i think they are raeted to 200, but there is always room to breath.
also there is NO WAY TO DO A CHEAP TUNE. a cheap tune=unreliability and problems. get a p28, have a program chipped onto it (like crome) and AT LEAST have it street tuned.

Around 200whp shouldn't hurt anything, but like everyone said, it's all in the tune. Just watch those injectors and rods.

If everything checks out and the turbo is in good running order, a tune

i dont mean a cheap tune or something like that i mean like a cheap way of going about it. since it will be my daily im not going to go out and get an AEM for it cuz im baller like that. but all i need is a way to sufficiently tune it without breaking the bank. know what i mean? also i think i can go alittle higher in hp with injectors and maybe a pump since where i live they sell 100 octane at the pump.

um i wouldnt push stock injectors past 160hp wich would be 4-5psi on that turbo. what are you running a fmu or what? you need to get a conversion harness with a chipped p06 ecu with a basemap....

yes you can tune the car on a dyno with a chipped ecu. I personnally would run crome. with dsm injectors they are cheap and easy to find but you will have to get a resistor box. and i would suggest an upgraded oil pump
