Default walboro 255 pump

how rich will my car run if i put in the 255 pump on a untuned ecu. i know the fuel pressure is going to go up but i plan on running nitrous so i beefed up the pump. just curious if anyone has run into problems with it being too rich.

Why can't you go below 1/4 tank?

yea i read that too. i hear it sucks up too much air and it makes your car bog out. i'll just snag a fpr. the nitrous motor wont be done for a little anyways. i was just thinking about throwing that in now so i dont have as much work later. its just sittin in the garage anyways.

I installed mine about a month before i put my turbo on and before i got a base map. Ran fine but you could really smell the gas. Not to sure in the difference in Gas Mileage tho.

I'm gonna say anytime, The fuel pump is doing it's same duty cycle weather tuned or not.. Maybe a lil more once you get a tune tho. Honestly i've been on E before in my car.. Never felt it bogging.

im not sure about other fuel pumps but i know that the walbros heat up a lot.. there in take pumps and if u go below a 1/4 tank they start to get hot and the burn up really fast.. the gas actually cools down the fuel pump..

My walboro 255 put out 44psi at the FPR when adjusted as low as possible. Originally I could turn the fuel pressure(on OEM fuel pump) down to 32psi.I'm pretty sure that a better fpr would help tone it down though, I just haven't changed mine cuzz it runs great at 44-48.

RS Machine. It's one of the ones that has you cut the oem fpr in half, and re-use the bottom for mounting.
