Default New fuel pump require tune..??

Im buying a walbro 255lph fuel pump, will i have to get my car retuned when its installed..?? id hate to have to spend another 3 bills if i didnt have to... but if it will make my car run better after a tune i guess im not really losing out on the deal...

If you got the low pressure pump you won't need a re-tune. If you got the high pressure pump, I'd definitely hook a wideband up to make sure you aren't running too rich.

i was runnin like 14.2 area on wideband when I did first tune like 2 months ago... havent added anything since than so should be similiar area still, but was told I am running a bit rich by tuning shop, not enough to hurt me but a lil bit... couldnt i just get a FPR to control the fuel pump..?? and whats the difference performance wise between LP and HP fuel pump..??

Regardless of the fact that you bought a LP or HP pump. You should a, check your static fuel pressure and make sure its the same as it was before. b, monitor the vehicle with a wideband oxygen sensor to ensure the air fuel ratios are still in the proper range.
