Well i have gsr motor thats currently pushing near 400whp at 13psi on a 60-1 turbonetics. well my gsr tranns is grinding 3rd most or all the time and 2nd aswell and reverse is a bitch to get in and even harder to get back out. So know im planning on doing some more mods like aftermarket cams, bigger t.b, bigger injectors with a summit fuel pump, bigger turbo and better turbo mani and change to a 44w.g. with that said and some race gas im going to aim for 28psi and hoping to put near 600 or + to the wheels, but my tranny is my biggest fear. Is there forge gears for a gsr, should i get a neew tranny or should i just change the cynchros on mine and a better clutch like many have told me? or what are people using this days that can take 600whp+ on track and streetable.

 

I dont make 600+whp, but I would say either LS or GSR. b16's are meant for less power (300-400)unless you plan to drag race it inwhich with slicks, you will go the fastest. Id say keep the gsr tranny since you already have it.
