car is running hot
just put a gt28rs on my b20 running 8lbs. in the city the car is fine. when i get on the interstate the temperature jumps up. id say to about 3/4 the way up. could this be caused by using a stock radiator? how can i fix this problem? run a oil cooler? need help. i dont want to overheat my engine
shouldnt really be the radiator. i mean every stock honda out there is cooled by a stock radiator. maybe head warp. try some headstuds. do you have enough coolant in radiator.? new thermo could help.
fixed it.
OP, make sure the coolant is bled properly. Radiator upgrade and a good fan with shroud will probably take care of your issues. The intercooler blocks airflow and causes the overheating. Pull the bumper off, if that cures the problem then you know you have an airflow issue
