p30 pistons....
Ok I know this is a all motor question but I asked there and no one has a response., I want to run p30(99 SI) pistons in my ls-v. Now I seen a set on ebay from company called NPR anyone even use them????
P30 pistons come from the JDM spec 2nd gen B16A which yields .2 higher compression, so the in a B16A it would be 10.4:1 instead of 10.2:1 like all those found on usdm models
Not sure what compression would be on an LS vtec

11.8:1 with a b16 head and 12.1:1 with a GSR head.
This assuming you are using an OEM 3 layer headgasket.

Plug in what you have, this will give you a pretty decent idea, depending on if you milled the head or not also.
People have used the NPR for ITR pistons, for a nice little NA b16 action.
