Have you checked if your car is properly aligned? As well as making sure all your rims are balanced?

well within the past two months i got my front tires aligned...i didn't do the back but i'm sure the back wouldn't make that much vibration....maybe ill just bring in the car and get all four wheels aligned again....huh...dam it....hate it too...other thing is too..if it's the wheels..wouldn't it happen right away instead of untill the car heats up....

make sure all the motor mount bolts are tight and check the spark plugs for fouling.

Maybe even a compression test cold then again warm.

How do you align the front without aligning the back? The front is aligned based on the rear alignment.

Anyway...an alignment doesn't cause a shake. A balance issue might. People get alignments and balancing confused for some reason.

It's weird that it only happens when the car warms up. Maybe you have a misfire or something. Do you have a check engine light?

i have the same thing and mine was the axles if you have a swap make sure the axles are correct ones needed also balance the wheels or replace tires, front end alignment, tie rod ends such things will cause shakiness in steering...make sure all lug nuts are tight

can anyone explain to me how a "front end alignment" is done on a car with 4 wheel independent suspension? Also how does an alignment make the car shake?

does the motor feel like its running like **** and causing it to shake?

If your car is lowered, it causes camber wear which can result in bubbling of your tires. check the fronts if thats where the shake feels like its coming from

You mean toe wear and cupping. Toe wear causes cupping, blown shocks also can cause cupping. Camber really isn't a major wearing angle of tires....and I'd be hard pressed to believe that camber could cause cupping.

check the driver side motor mount i think they are still oil filled that year, may be wrong,
if its bad you most likely see oil every where around the mount. my buddys broke and the whole shook.

i had the same problem with vibrations during acceleration......i found that the axle was the problem....although the boot isn't ripped, it can still be damaged internally....it's the inner section of the axle that was bad (where it connects to the half shaft on my teg on the driver side)...so don't eliminate that being a problem just from looking at whether it's torn or not.

it might be...but the key here is that it only happens when the car is warmed up.
