honda bseries swap can be posible in daihatsu charade gtti???
you're not from around here, are you? lol. anything is possible with enough time and money. Considering Ive never heard of that model or make of car, you might want to post a picture of the car so people know what the hell you're talking about
sure, like I said anything is possible with enough money, hell you could probably squeeze a 350 into it if you had enough patience. but we dont have those cars in the states, so you might want to find someone more local to you that is familiar with those cars. it looks like a mini vw golf, lol
that bay looks tight, not much spare room. i see you've got a turbo 3cyl, wouldn't you be able to get about the same output as a b16 by optimising exhaust and getting a good tune?
there is a thread in the hybrid forum (i think) where a guy is putting a b-series into a honda beat. those came with a mid-mounted 3cyl, and he's been able to squeeze the motor in. it's tight but it's in.
in your case, you're looking at more of a "transplant" than a swap. the b16 spins the opposite direction from your turbo 3 (meaning that the engine would be on the driver's side rather than the passenger side). you would have to move some things around to make room for that. axles will almost certainly need to be custom, same with exhuast, shift linkage, motor/transmission mounts... coolant hoses, fuel lines would need to be routed properly and made to fit.
if i were planning to do something like this, i would pick up a wrecked donor car and pull the complete wiring harness and replace the original one in the diahatsu.
that should give you a feel for what's involved. if you pull it off, be sure to share the details with us

I m running a GTti with Honda b16a5. it runs perfect very relaible after i put some serious $$$ on it. yes axles are the thing you should worry abt, u have to customize it to work on GTti if u will use those charade axles they'll end up broken after a single launch .
