i charged my ac and it didnt really get to cold so i vacumed the system completly, closed the valves to check for leaks, then filled the system with freeon. Problem is it pulled the freeon out sooo slowly and when fully charged again still was not cold? help?

 

What total weight of refrigerant was added to the system? What are the high and low side pressures? By the way, you can speed up the recharging process by placing the refrigerant cans in hot water.

 

Low=40-50 ish
High=225

 

is the air expansion valve or evaporator? under dash?

yes, everything seems to be working but the air and the ac pipes arent getting cold like usual

 

i think mine was running at about 40-45 on the low side and it worked great for a while. try revving the engine up to like 2,000 rpm and see if the pipes get cold then. on my del sol the line was still warm but with more rpm it got cold.
