Okay I have a Xentec kit, at first it was my left side that flickers then turns off, then when the right side ballast went out, the left side stopped turning off even though I didn't change anything off.
When I got my warranty replacement ballast for the right side, it started working again but then started flashing, but then stopped and then they were both working good.
So When I started driving the right side went, so I turned my lights off and turned them back on and it started working again, 3 minutes later the right side went out again, I restarted it and it immediatly turned back on again. As the night went out, every 40 seconds is when the light went out.

I'm pretty stumped about this situation what can it be? Connection problem? too much power consumption? I need a Relay?

The weird part is that the same exact problem was happening to the left side, until the right side ballast went out.
Its like when it happens it happens to only one side, not both. Both sides never went out at the same time. I find it weird how it turns right back on after I turn it off.

yup. Get one from ebay for cheap. It uses your headlight harness to switch the relay bu draws constant power from the battery when on.

 

Okay So I tried to clean up my installation.. by cleaning terminals.
What I said up there is untrue.. when I Turn on my Headlights Both of My headlights go out. BUT they both always turn back on when I turn off my lights and turn them back on. !! OMG! why is my lights always doing random disfunction.. Is it something with my battery?

Alright So Heres a video of me testing out my hid, I mean I don't see what the problem is. The lights always turns on when I switch it on, but starts flickering it and turning off. Sometimes it flickers and turns off, sometimes it strobes and turns off. But I can guarentee that they turn back on right away when I restart it. Sometimes its just the right one that goes out sometimes both..... its always pretty random.

Okay after doing some more research, I think I need to buy a relay harness, because When I unplug one of the wires for one ballast, the other ballast starts up fine and doesn't go out. now my question is Where should I buy the relay harness? ebay?

u need a relay. n it will be fixed. when i put my 20k in my headlights same stuff i got a relay put it ands works fine.
