Default Need some help... crx bogging thins bad o2 but not sure.

Hey guys i am new just looking for some information.
I am running a 90 crx si with a d16y8, its boosted. I finally got it on the road this year and yes have had alot of problems but thought i had them all worked out. Till the other day me and the gf broke up so i was out boosting around when **** there is the check engine light. So i bring it home and run the code and it comes up heated o2. So the onlt thing is i am running an inovative wide band lc1. The last 2 times my o2 went my little light flaseds a code but this time it says it is fine. Another problem is i don;t have the gauge and don;t have a lap top witha cerial port so i can;t actually see what my air fuel is. So my question is i have a chipped p28 with chrome and i was wondering would my chipped ecu throw a bad code becasue its chipped or is it totally unrelated.
thanks guys i have no money so i really don't want to buy another o2 lol . just want to make sure that that is what it is.

It won't throw an o2 code because it is chipped, that is for sure. I would say your WB o2 sensor just died, or the innovate came unplugged or the wiring job on it failed.

I would bet money that the wiring job is the issue and something came loose.

as a final note, you can buy usb to serial port converters for your laptop from newegg.com for like $15. I know because i have 2 of them, one for datalogging the ecu and one for datalogging my lm-1. The LC-1 won't just loose its setting though, and neither will the p28. If something went wrong with the ecu, you would see a solid cell, and not blinking of the CEL.

go through the wiring on the lc, and i bet you will find the problem.

they do, and they need to be powered all the time, so if one of the power wires came loose then you insta-nuke the sensor.
