who cares if others have it. A boosted gsr would make easy, and somewhat reliable power. b18a=Full build to work right and a b16 = torqueless wonder.

A pistons and rod turbo B16 should be 500whp capable

But beyond power will be what the intended use of the car is

If you going NA seriously youll need a 2.3-2.4+setup like a big H/F setup or Big K....baby B series blocks are a waste of time now

If your going boost the supporting mods will cost so much that the block you start off with is the easy cost....being that the B16 is a torqueless wonder it has an easier time actually putting the power down on real street tires....if you are gonna roll race then the higher toque stuff is nice but overkill on street tires

An easy fix would be to run an F20B motor with bolt ons (more power than a C5) and if thats not enough you can boost it. It has metal sleeves and an H22 head with Type S cams.....you should eclipse the power production of a stock B16 setup with the F motor and if you get crazy NA or Boost later on you can stuff a built/bored/stroked F22 block under it later and shoot for 800+whp

Or you can waste your time and money on a built C5 motor only to lose to Big H/K setups who spent about the same as you.
