Default b16a2 into eg question

ok im gonna pick up a b16 swap for my 94 eg hatch shell and i had a quick question, since its an obd2 motor and the car is obd1 will everything just plug and play? or do i need a jumper harness? just wanna make sure so i dont run into problems.

u could get a gsr engine harness that is obd2 and it will be plug and play. and wire vtec from the shock tower harness to the ecu.

or wire the stock eg harness so its obd2. and wire vtec

u will need a obd1 b16 ecu or and ecu with b16 specs.

no jumper harness that's if u were to use the and obd1 ecu in an obd0 or obd2 car.

the car will run better on obd1 better tunning options(hondata).

you could also just run obd1 integra dizzy and things on it, and just run the stock harness, and wire in vtec and what ever else

so to make the motor obd1 i can use the obd2 wiring harness with a obd1 ecu? i didnt plan on messin with the obd2 b16 but im getting it pretty cheap so i guess its a chance to learn something new.

I did this exact swap. I pulled the harness off my B18B1 (which was OBD2) and used that. It worked perfectly.
