Icon2 flywheel bolt thread pattern

ok ive got a ef civic with a zc swap i bought the motor with the tranny already on it and someone didnt put it together right because all the bolts that hold the flywheel on striped out and wore the holes out on the crank. i was wondering what the pattern was for the bolts that hold the fly on, i wanted to fix it with a heli coil and the local parts stores can figure out the thread, i was just going to order some online.

Why not drill and tap new threads, new Grade 8-10 bolts and red loctite and and long sincere prayer and maybe it might hold.

well i want to use the 12 point bolts i got because they have short heads and they're the right size for the flywheel, and i know they're strong. i just need to know the pitch of the thread so i can get the right heli coil and then drill it and tap it.

PS that is an oddball size from what I can tell..

I don't see anyone offering that exact pitch so you might have to
go to a different one..

As far as thread repair goes..Also look into "EZ-lock" or the one
I am familiar with "time-serts"

i would never trust something like that on crank man. just get your money back, or swap the crank for a good one.

12mm x 1.00 RH

per:
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ARP-208-2801/

for a 91 CRX since all D series use the same size flywheel.

also try searching google for that tap size, i saw a couple one there, its probably not a common size, thats why local stores dont have it.
