My 97 hatch recently had a y7 in it now it has a d15b bottom end with a z6 head. Well the intake manifold comes out the side instead like a y8 manifold unlike the y7. My question is what braket can i use to be able to push the peddle and give it some gas . I tried using the braket that came with the intake manifold and it im getting no gas.

 

use the bracket that came with teh manifold and get a civic EX throttle cable instead

 

im pretty much out of money so is there any way to use the y7 throttle?

 

anyone know if i can run the stock dx throttle bracket and if it will work?Cant seem to find it or id test it out.

 

just use a P28 or P2P bracket and teh throttle cable from a 92-00 civic Ex or 92-95 Si

Nope. You gotta get a new throttle cable. Shouldn't be too expensive, or you could "pocket" them.

 

well i went to honda today and ordered one for 21 new and the junk yards wanted $30 lol.
