I got the whole project done. Lots of work and not quite a straight forward as many loike to say. Fact that I had a bare manifold probably didn't help.

Biggest question I have is what throttle cable bracket I should use. I used the stock one for now but it is not perfect. Kinda aligned wrong and threaded all the way back so it functions. I am heading to a salvage yard tomorrow so any input as to what I should look for would be very helpful.

I also need to replace the fuel pressure regulator. I used the d16z6 one for now but it doesn't fit perfect and I sure as **** don't want to drive around with jerry rigged fuel line.

I also didn't have anyplace to hook up the coolant line to the throttle body and iacv. Which is good I guess. Because I didn't want to connect them anyways.

IACV didn't go on with this little block of metal on the manifold. So I had to do some last minute cutting to get it on.

Otherwise everything went on and is working. I don't want to test drive it until I replace the fuel pressure regulator. But it seems to be working right so far.

Here is a picture. As you can see the gsr throttle body is bigger then my intercooler piping. Think my next project is pretty dam obvious. Also if you can see the throttle bracket setup is less then perfect.

I am doing the same swap on a y7. then I am going to turbo charge it. I ran into problems. what motor are you doing that on. did you have to make your injector wires longer? I am lost on the whole swap too
