Default O2 sensor wiring B16 obd0

The car came with a DC header with two spots for O2 sensors.
We had to remove the header because of a huge hole in the bottom from scraping.
Replace it with an ebay header for an EG, but their is only on hole for an O2 sensor.
What should I do?

just hook up both wires to the same o2 sensor... or jump it from the ecu clips.
i have done that a lot of times and works fine.

That's how it is now, but I saw another post where some guy did that and it made the car run rich, is this true?
