Has anyone tapped the 2 O2 sensors to run 1 O2 sensor in their B16 swap?

Intstuctions per Hasport:
If you chose to run only one O2 sensor you can tap the 2nd O2 sensor wire into the existing O2 sensor in the engine or at the ECU. To tap into the primary O2 sensor at the ECU, tap into wire C16.

Is this supposed to work because I'm bogging like crazy? My O2 right now is probably shot, so I'll replace it and see what happens. Just looking for some feedback from some people who've done this. BTW, I'm running a PR3 ECU (1st gen B16) and am running 1 O2 because I have a DC Header with one O2 hole.

it didnt work for me, my car ran like ***, i ended up getting a zdyne 1 wire ecu to cut out the 2nd o2 sensor, after that there was a serious improvement with the way my car runs.

The correct way of doing it is to run both single wire o2 sensors in the proper locations on the front of the header. The method of using 1 o2 sensor rarely works, and is intended for those that refuse to drill into their aftermarket header.

Hasport does offer a header for this swap that retains both o2 sensor ports.

Bottom line is that it would be better to run with no o2 sensors plugged in, if having them tee'd creates this problem.

I have the same b16a, PR3 and its wired the HaSport way but using a heated 4-wire O2 from a 93 Bronco. The only bogging/stumble I experience (and its intermittent, goes away after i reset ecu) is between 3k-4k normal driving...not sure its my O2 causing this problem, no codes. If I mash on it there is no bogging at all.

Hard to beat Honda engineering and I'd say their way is the best way. Sure would like to see numbers on that HaSport header

Yeah we really don't recommend doing that any more, I'll update the instructions to reflect it.

We'll try to get some side-by-side dyno number too.
