me and my team mates are geting pist off with cali laws we have this reffery thing so we cant do swaps with out ther ok so me and my buddy thought we would build sumthing that does not need to be smoged wich would be 74 and back we want to do a b20 with b16 head and gsr cabble trany in a old school civic and we were woundring if any ones done a b-swap in this old of a car and wat r we gonna need to do so my dad owns a shop, have weldders and every tool to do so i just wanna no if it will fit and the axle set up

Yes, the State of California hates modified cars.

Yes, you can stick a B18 into an old car that does not need to be smogged. An old Accord has more room so you might look for that rather than an old Civic. You will need to fabricate the engine mounts, but it will work. You might have issues with axles and knuckles, but those problems can be solved.
