ok so i just got done putting a new clutch in my car then got hit so i had to repaint 3/4s of it now my passenger floor is soaked i'm thinkin heater core doesnt have a very pleasent smell to it havent had a chance to tear everything out so i'm not sure wat all to look for hopefully i get into it this weekend and find its jsut water any ideas??? o yeah its a 97 civic ex coupe

i'm actually tearing up the carpet and everything right now i'll try and get some pictures up soon

 

you will smell a sweet smell not quite like coolant but it will remind you of it (due to it being soaked into the interior)
feet get wet when it's not wet outside = heater core poped.
