I just got a 90 CRX SI with a direct port ZC motor.

My problem is that when I turn the key on the, running lights, dash lights, hvac lights, etc. are always on. When I turn the headlights on they do come on correctly but the rest of the lights stay on regardless of the position of the selector (left of steering wheel, opposite of wiper controls).

Everything turns off when the key is removed so It's not an urgent problem. I now think I know why some of the cluster bulbs are bad since they stay on all the time. I don't want to start replacing bulbs with this problem still around.

Another piece of info. The Radio stays on even with the key out if the headlights are on. I'll see if it does this when it's in running light position.

I took a quick glance under the dash and didn't see any ghetto'd up wiring. If anything is different they did a good job shrinkwrapping and such.
