I'm new to this forum.

We've got an Honda Civic EK3 (1.5 VTEC) at home and it's antenna is broken. The telescopic pipe that get the signal was broken by the basis.

So, we bougth a new one from Honda and we want to replace it. We saw some DIY pictures but they aren't very explicit.

Our major doubt is:

- Do we have to cut the old antenna wire so we can remove it? Or there is some other way of getting it out?

- If we have to cut it how will we put the new antenna? Will we have to make some workaround about the new and old antenna wire?

We are afraid of doing some crap and damage the antenna or the circuit.
