CEL weird codes
I believe 88-90 have all short blinks, I know 88-89 have short blinks, however my 91 has long blinks.
You are throwing code 8 and 16. TDC code (8) and Injectors (16)
OP have you recently converted to MPFI in your car by chance?
On all 3 of my 91's (CRX Si, Sedan LX, Sedan DX) they all have short blinks... It really sucks when you have multiple codes all higher then 15~20 LOL... Either way I thought ALL OBD-0 ECUs have only short blinks with codes seperated by long pauses. Starting OBD-1 was where the long and short blinks came in as well as the CEL reading instead of a LED on the ECU...
When I got my 91 hatch, it was running a PR4 and it had long and short blinks *shrugs* I have no idea lol. Just giving my personal experience lol. Maybe I got a reject lol.
^ That is to check codes for an 92-95 OBD1 not for OBD0... Since you have to jump that terminal by the ECU.

No i havent done a mpfi swap... this 91 hatch is just going to be my beater while i drop a Z6 into my other hatch
but ya defenetly some weird codes....the car also runs like a CRAP getting worse the longer you drive it , then when you shut it off and start it up again it smokes HARDCORE white and smells like chemical fire...its def a weird smell ...i have never smelt anything like that from a exhaust pipe....pretty sure its a head gasket...one of my friends rubbed his finger in the exhaust pipe then tasted it and said it was sweet so pretty sure its the head gasket....but that weird smeel..geez .....almost like the cat is plugged and burning out? i dunno what u guys think?
Well the car will run like crap especially with code 8 Top Dead Center Position which means it doesn't know when to fire cylinder 1.
If it's a sweet smell like Maple Syrup more than likely it's a head gasket. I would not run the car anymore due to seriously messing up the engine until it's FUBAR.

That is coolant burning... after the car warms up stuff EXPANDS and causes your blown headgasket or cracked head to allow more coolant to **** in the cylinder. Burning coolant does not smell like maple syrup... if your maple syrup smells like that then I would stop using it right away.
Hey BTW I have a glass of green kool-aid will your friend drink it to tell me how good it tastes. Obviously you are not that intelligent...
