i've been searching and i havent been able to find the exact answer im looking for so id figure id just ask lol but i was just wonder. im swapping a sir II b16a into my 92 civic hatch and i was wondering....with that swap can i use the stock map sensor off the fire wall? or do i have to use the map sensor thats supposed to come with the b16a? the throttle body thats on the b16a doesnt have a map sensor. it may be off an older b16. i also have a gsr map sensor off a 1997 gsr. any help would be appreciated thank u very much.
what do u mean by "have to" my experiance has been that if ur tb does not have the port (jdm) get a us one and be done. it'll run, by why half as it? whats a used tb go for 30 bucks.... stop being cheap lol

im not in any way trying to be cheap...... im trying to find out which map sensor i should use with my swap. Not throttle body......... like i said i dont know if i should use the stock dx map sensor that is on the firewall or if i should purchase a b16a map sensor or if i should use a gsr map sensor i have laying around. that's the question
I had to do this with my 92 hatch with B16A swap.
Used the firewall DX MAP sensor and wiring, simply connect the vacuum line to the B16A throttle body.
If you use a different harness, like from an EX or Si, ignore it's wiring and connector for the throttle body MAP sensor. Use the firewall wiring.
I hope that makes sense, I just woke up.
