Default B16A SIRII owners look inside please....

ok this whole time i had my map sensor hooked up to the little brass nipple coming out of the top of my t/b because thats where its screwed down on all other t/b and today i find out i have been wrong the whole time so im asking anyone with a b16a sirII motor and stock t/b to post a picture of where the map sensor is supposed to go.

thanks

I believe 92-93 B16's had a firewall mounted map and the 94-95's had it located on top of the TB. In any case I know some of them came mounted on the TB.

Look at the TB and you'll see two black hoses. The one big one goes to the charc. Can and the 2nd one you'll see goes down under the intake, goes to the Map. The factory map on some sir II motors mounts on a bracket right next to the fuel filter, I just tied mine off uner the intake manifold.

But on some SIRII motors it is located on top of the TB, in fact my friend has one and it's there right on top like the 94-up civics.

nsxmatt mine is the same way yours is..is that the right way? common sense told me thats how i should do mine so thats how it is.

futuresi..ive never seen one like that before are you sure its right? shouldnt the map sensor go on the t/b somewhere? im sure your way works the same because its doing the same thing but wouldnt it be much easier to just connect it to the brass nipple on the top of the t/b like nsxmatt and i?

usdm b16 map sensor is screwed to the t/b jdm b16 map sensors are either on the firewall or on the t/b depending on generation
