hey, i was gonna paint my rex a silverish. Aren't too many. But painting is a long way away. All the primary colors seem to look like wind-up toys

 

sand it right down to the metal and then clearcoat it

 

can't go wrong with Urban Camoflauge (the blue kind)
I say the greyish/silverish still

 

Yeah, polish out the alum. and then clear coat it to give it a bling bling look. Has a car body ever chromed out?
me and my boy were thinking of an origanal look as well and heres what we came up wit, a full carbon fiber body. its light, looks good, and i dont think its ever been done before. The only problem is it would be madley expensive.

 

a guy I know...first pimered the car...then painted it black, and then sanded sections and spots down to the primer..and then clearcoated it Looks really cool...strange but cool

he cant sand it down to metal and then clear over it because its gonna be a race car and will have a 1 peice front end that cant be sanded down to the metal. Make it a color that will stand out...no dark colors...something that photographs well. Dont make it too flashy though like neon yellow or green though, makes it look a little cheap in my opion. A real metalicy silver would be tight I think.....Mike
