what up HT, im not really new, just been lurking around for a while and finally decided to make an account. anyways...

ive got an ls in my eg 4 door. the o2 sensor isnt plugged in because the plug off the harness is over by the distributor and the o2 is down near the cat. im assuming the harness was used off the old d series motor. question is can i use an obd1 harness off an LS and still be able to plug everything up?

 

You can get a extension.

 

yeah i thought about doin that by goin to the junkyard and cutting the plugs and making my own

 

no need to make an extended harness.. i used a stock d series obd 1 vtec harness on my JDM B16 and ran into the same problem your havin so i scooped an o2 wire extender.. there pretty cheap at pwJDM

theres 2 different lengths so you can get the right one so theres not alot of extra wiring in your bay

i did the ls engine swap to my eg 4dr and o2 sensor plugs in fine no need to change the harness..plus no check engine lights

 

To Answer the OP question, yes an LS engine harness will plug right into your eg shock tower plugs. You can use an ls engine harness from a manual or automatic(just have 3 plugs not doing anything in the engine bay)I just finished this swap in my eg6.

 

As long as its from a '94+ Integra you can use the Integra engine harness.

 

 

theres no need to go through the hassle of putting a new harness on the motor when his only problem is the fact that he cant plug the o2 wire into the harness.. hence why i gave him the link for an O2 wire extender...
