Ok, I'm in the process of tucking my headlight harnesses along side the frame rail, and I don't know what this piece is. It's on both sides of the headlight harness, and if I can axe it, I want to. It would make things A LOT easier.

Anyone know what it is?

Yes, there are like 5 black wires going into it.

It looks like a scanner connector. i know that many domestic car have them at the engine bay, but i dont know if honda does, i have yet to see one. anyways, it looks like the top part is a cap/cover thingy. u think u can remove that and take a pic?

 

It's on both side of the harnesses, right near the headlight connectors, It's not a OBD1 connector.

 

take a picture of it from the side so we can see the top of it..

 

is that the DRL? (daytime running lights) box? i know canada has them, but the us models didnt.

 

It is a ground distribution block. You cannot remove it - unless you don't want your headlights, turn signal, and everything else that is grounded there

 

^^^ true true I cut mine off then re-made all of the grounds. No problems since.

 

It is a ground, ok sweet, that makes things easier.
