Default Skunk2 Short Throw Shifter

Has anyone bought a skunk2 short throw? i just broke my b&m one which i thought would never break, and they won't warrenty it because i lost my reciept. I also had a cheap ebay one in it for a couple days after the b&m went, and sure enough that one just broke. Now my question is do the Skunk2 short throws come with the housing to bolt it up because in the pictures they only show the shifter by itself without the housing. This may sound like a dumb question but i'd like to know before i buy one and find out it's just a bare shifter. thanks in advance.

my b&m one snapped like a twig gently pulling it out of first into nuetral, and the ebay one also snapped like a twig gently putting it into fifth gear just cruising. i think the weight of the skunk2 shift **** may be a factor in it too.

It's bound to happen with a short shifter that is aluminum. My STR short shifter broke on me a couple of weeks ago.

OP you just have to remove the 2 bolts on #9 and the shifter comes out, then you place in your n ew shifter like you did with the ebay model. The link you posted don't work, so I am not sure what housing you are talking about, unless they have a picture of a cable shifter, like a K or H series.

This is the B&M shifer I have which is mounted on a spherical bearing.

If you broke this shifter which is made of billet 303S stainless steel I want to see a picture of you. I am 6ft 235lbs bench press 370 lbs and I couldnt break this shifter if I tried.
