do what i did. get cardboard and trace your trunk. take cardboard out get 3/4 MDF wood.
trace the cardboard onto the wood.
cut out the wood.
Put wood aside and make a fiberglass box in ur trunk. put the 3/4 mdf over it. cut hole in it for a sub and place the sub in it. secure it all and mount ur ampo to the backseat. now u have a FULL trunk of space and have a custom built sub enclosure and it sits under the floor.
i can post pics if u need

i used 1/4 in on mine the other night while awaiting parts, then fiberglassed the whole thing and beginning to smoothen out. i figure i'll make the trunk carpet less so i'll make sides and other pieces with it.
thing is, with my setup is, u can have car audio, spare tire, and subs and amp all under the floor while keeping the entire trunk space clear for items such as groceries. also a bonus is, you dont have sub boxes and ampos taking up your room, this all sits under the floor. giving u trunk space as normal and a system and an accessable spare.
hella lot better then fixing ur trunk now. buying subs and losing ur room later. and still be complaining about room for groceries :S
also any wood other then MDF will crack even if its plywood, put something heavy in the middle and ittl break again
