to the best of my knowledge they don't make a side enclosure..... and if they did, or if you could make one, how would you change the taillights. The only other thing is the type of box you use (sealed will take up less space). You could also just use one sub and put twice the power to it.

Depending on your box, they play optimally in a certain size enclosure. Once you find out the size, check http://www.crutchfield.com i think they have a side box as a q-logic q-form or an mtx thunderbox or jl audio stealthbox or whatever..

what brand of 12's?
you can also look up A-periodic boxes. I dont know if they are still around or not, but they are nice. A little expensive to buy, but you can make them yourself if you have the time and patience.
fiberglass is fun also. I think some one mentioned the qforms and stealth boxes.
You can also build a box into the rear fender well of the car and have the speaker barely in the trunk. Takes some time, and lots of fiberglass, but when its done, you loose about 2 inches in trunk space, and you dont really miss it. I might do it to my prelude. if I do, i will have it on my "articles" page on my website. If you want email me, and ill try to give you some better options.
