hey hows it going. im new on hear but i wouldnt say 100% new to honda and honda motors my friend has 2 egs one with a b20 with a type R trans and some other taste full exterior mods like a lip kit carbon hood and traclite's wheels and another base cx hatch that is the subject here. its his winter car and while at the wreckers today i stumbled across a great find(to some) i found a nice d15b and trans. his cx right now has a d15b7 i believe and the secound best geared transmission dx i believe. what set up would be a wise choice for his cx if we managed to get the d15b head. i tryed to look on good old wikipedia for some specs on what the bore and stroke is to see if the d15b's pistons and crank are worlds apart for the d15b7 thus makeing it ether an impossible head swap or a dirty high compression build thats worth doing. but as my luck would have it the specs for the d15b motor were in metric and every other spec was in standard lol. if you could suggest what a better route to go with or even to buy the whole d15b insted of buying the head that be great. and im off to the search link to do some more reasearch but any information or simialar set up would be nice and btw the head is gonna be 50$ with every thing distributer/intakemanifold and exhaust mani

 

also i find it kinda intresting that there are sooo many diffrent tachs out there for hondas like in an auto i found a 9k tach with a 6k red line ahahha it was cool anyreason to why there are so many diffrent ones out there or how many there auctualy are

 

can some one link me or tell me the location of the part number for the d15b lsd tranny and where i can find it on the transmission
