'91 CRX-SI Climate control
Aloha...rather glad to have found this site.
After reviewing several threads for content I believe I've located some Honda guru's who may be able to answer questions as well as educate me on the CRX.
Query: where can I find/purchase a "climate control bracket" without cracks? I know...asking for the 'next to impossible part to find' is hopefully not impossible. Purchasing the entire unit is not an option at this point.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Well, there's a guy on ebay that sells "repair" front plates if yours is still all there.Or do like I did and do the 90-93 accord climate control mod, search here for it...

If you have the temp control part from your busted crx one,do the 2nd version which uses crx temp control attached to accord unit (since accord single cable, and crx has 2) Works/looks clean...
(not to mention ALOT cheaper than 150.00 for an old crx one that'll crack eventually prolly)

hey Bigz..i tried looking at the link with the pics u posted, but couldnt see the pix..unless my cpu dont have the patch, i was looking at how the guy converted or used the 92 accord face plate, but was more interested in the pixs..let me know if its only my cpu thats not showing the pix or its the guy that posted the thread
BiGZ, I did read the thread and found it interesting. I would like to piggy back on what LatnKng responded with though. I can't access the pics as well, so I may PM SRACHAD for more info.
Mahalo for the 'heads up'.

Yeah,I see what ya mean about pix links being dead.I may have them saved from when I did the mod to my 88 on one of my laptop'z HDz,hafta find em.You'll need the FSM or helm's for both your yr crx and 90-93 accord for wiring it up-not real hard even if ya hafta "trail+error" the wiring. Most of the wires were same colorz for mine.Pm'ing SRACHAD might be ur best bet for pix if I cannot find em...

Ahhh,I see.
The plates look good mang, but alas every unit I've found in JY'z around here had been busted/missing pcs.I did however, leave my stock plugs in case I ever found a decent oem crx unit-just in case! LoL... Still a good deal for those who can use the plates fo sho!
Here's some pix of mine installed

Found some of the OP's pix, uploading to photobucket now... (made em a lil big for detail)
back of accord after cutting off it's lil "posts"
posts to remove...
CRX temp control screwed onto back of accord unit 1
another
You hafta "flatten" a spot on crx temp shaft since accord's **** has "d" shape (make sure you position **** correctly to line up to mark on face of accord before grinding the flat spot on crx temp pc shaft.OP said he used a lil glue on accord know to crx shaft) Make sure the accord ***** that you get are not cracked already as it is kinda common for them to do so (you can buy new accord ***** on ebay as well if all are cracked that you find)
How OP wired in using extra crx plugs (I simply spliced into oem harness below oem plugs on my crx harness in case I want to "revert" to stock/get lucky + find a decent crx unit) AND GET THE ACCORD PLUGS WITH ENUFF WIRE PIGTAIL FROM DONOR CAR TO WIRE INTO YOUR CRX!!!
Tabs bent in to hold accord unit in place (I added a lil silicone-doesn't show/move after bezel installed + glue dried)
Buy the plate from CRX Toad if your unit is still all there and save the wiring ordeal, but if like mine-the slick lil repair plate wouldn't repair what I didn't have
I'm still wondering which cable went to which hole on crx temp unit arm since mine was MIA,and cables were cut-I tried both ways-still don't know whether the shorter that goes to door flapper is in right hole, but works! Anyone???
Again, these pix/writeup are both from OP and props go to him/them (several folk worked on this,I just did my ver and reposted for those in need of pix) If you need link to helm's manuals for wiring, lemme know... Hope this helps!
